Height-Adjustable Front Seat Belt (If Equipped)

You can set the seat belt anchor height at one of four positions.
If the height-adjustable seat belt is positioned too close to your neck, it will not provide the most effective protection. The shoulder portion should be adjusted so that it lies across the chest and the middle of the shoulder, not the neck.
To adjust the seat belt anchor height, lower or raise the height adjuster to the appropriate position. To raise the height adjuster, pull it upward. To lower it, push it downward while pressing the height adjuster button.
Release the button to lock the belt in position. Try to move the tongue to make sure it is locked in position.
• The height adjuster must always be in the locked position when the vehicle is moving.
• Incorrect seat belt height adjustment may reduce the effectiveness of the seat belt in the event of a crash.
