Folding the Third Row Seat

Folding the third row seat creates space in the vehicle for large items.

1. Remove the head restraint and tilt the seatback fully rearward.

2. Pull the strap to lift and fold the seat to the side.

3. Attach the securing strap to the assist grip to hold the seat, and fold the seat legs.

4. Tighten the securing strap loop to remove any slack.

5. Attach the head restraint to the top of the seat leg.

6. To return the seat to its normal position, perform all of the above steps in reverse order.

CAUTION:

To return the seat to its normal position, pull out the seat leg, remove the securing strap, and slowly lower the seat.

Be careful that the seat does not fall on your foot or pinch your hand.
