Inspection

  1. Check the CKPS and CMPS signal waveform using the GDS.

    Specification: Refer to "Waveform"

DEPOSIT

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (A).
  3. Remove the engine room under cover. (Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "Engine Room Under Cover".)
  4. Remove the sensor (A) by unscrewing the fixing bolt.

REMEDY

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Crankshaft position sensor mounting bolt: 9.8 - 11.8 N·m
