Inspection

  1. Connect the GDS to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Measure the RPS output voltage at idle and at various engine speeds.

DEPOSIT

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the alternator (Refer to Engine Electrical System - "Alternator").
  3. Disconnect the rail pressure sensor connector (A), then remove the rail pressure sensor (B) from the delivery pipe.

REMEDY

  1. To install, perform the removal procedure in reverse. Rail pressure sensor: 30.0 ~ 35 N·m
