Antena

Roof Antenna

Your vehicle uses a roof antenna to receive both AM and FM radio broadcast signals. This antenna is removable.

To remove the antenna, turn it counterclockwise. To install the antenna, turn it clockwise.

CAUTION
  • Before driving into a low-clearance area or a car wash, be sure to remove the antenna by turning it counterclockwise. If you do not, the antenna may be damaged.
  • When reinstalling the antenna, make sure it is fully screwed in and positioned upright to ensure the best possible reception. However, it may be folded down or removed when parking the vehicle or loading cargo on the roof rack.
  • When loading cargo on the roof rack, do not place cargo near the antenna base, to ensure the best possible reception.
