Disc Care

~1min read

  • If the temperature inside the vehicle is too high, open the windows to ventilate the vehicle before switching on the audio system.
  • Copying and using MP3/WMA/AAC/WAVE files without permission is illegal. Use only lawfully recorded CDs.
  • Do not use volatile substances such as benzene or thinner on CDs. Use standard commercially available CD cleaning products.
  • To avoid damaging the disc surface, hold the disc only by its edges or by the edges of the center hole.
  • Before playing a disc, wipe its surface with a soft cloth (wipe from the center toward the outer edge).
  • Do not damage the disc surface or attach adhesive tape or paper to it.
  • Make sure that no other unsuitable objects are inserted into the CD player. (Do not load more than one CD at a time.)
  • After use, place the disc in its case to protect it from scratches and dirt.
  • Depending on the type of CD-R/CD-RW disc, some discs may not play correctly depending on the manufacturer, production method, or recording method.

In such cases, using these discs may damage the audio system in the vehicle.

NOTE - Playing Copy-Protected Discs This car audio system may not be able to play some copy-protected CDs that do not comply with the international standard for audio CDs (Red Book). Please note that if the player does not work properly when playing copy-protected discs, the discs may be faulty, not the player.
