Type A

  • Lock or unlock the tailgate by turning the key to the "Lock" or "Unlock" position.
  • If the tailgate is unlocked, open it by pressing the handle and then lifting the tailgate up.

Type B

Otwieranie klapy tylnej

  • The tailgate locks or unlocks when all doors are locked or unlocked with the key, remote control (or smart key), or the door lock button of the central locking system.
  • If the tailgate is unlocked, open it by pressing the handle and then lifting the tailgate up.
  • When all doors are locked and the tailgate unlock button on the smart key is pressed and held for more than 1 second, the tailgate unlocks. After the tailgate is opened and then closed, it locks automatically.

❈ There is no key cylinder.

NOTE In cold and humid climates, locks and door mechanisms may not operate properly due to freezing.

WARNING The tailgate swings upward.

When opening the tailgate, make sure there are no vehicles or people behind the vehicle.

CAUTION Before driving, make sure the tailgate is closed. If the tailgate is not closed before driving, the lift struts or hinges may be damaged.
