Whenever the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or a fuse has blown, the sunroof system must be reset as follows:

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position, then fully close the sunroof.
  2. Release the control switch.
  3. Push the control switch forward and hold it (for more than 10 seconds) until the sunroof tilts and moves slightly. Then release the switch.
  4. Wait 3 seconds, then push the control switch forward and hold it (for more than 5 seconds) until the sunroof operates as follows:

TILT DOWN → OPEN → CLOSE

Then release the control switch.

After completing these steps, the sunroof system will be reset.

CAUTION If the sunroof system is not reset after disconnecting or discharging the vehicle battery, or after blowing the relevant fuse, the sunroof may not operate properly.
