The ISG system will operate under the following conditions:

  • The driver's seat belt is fastened.
  • The driver's door and the engine hood should be closed.
  • There is sufficient vacuum in the brake system.
  • The battery is sufficiently charged.
  • Outside temperature is between -2°C and 35°C.
  • The engine coolant temperature is not too low.

NOTE

  • If the ISG system does not meet these operating conditions, it will be turned off. The ISG OFF indicator light on the button and the message on the LCD display (if equipped) will illuminate.
  • If the indicator light or message stays on, check the operating conditions.
