Adjust the rearview mirror so that the center of the field of view through the rear window is visible.

Make this adjustment before starting to drive.

WARNING - Rear visibility Do not place items on the rear seat or in the cargo area that could obstruct the view through the rear window. WARNING Do not adjust the rearview mirror while driving. This may cause loss of vehicle control, resulting in a fatal accident, serious injury, or vehicle damage. WARNING Do not adjust the rearview mirror while the vehicle is moving.

This may cause loss of vehicle control and an accident that could result in death, serious injury, or property damage.

Day/night rearview mirror

Make this adjustment before driving and when the day/night mirror lever is in the day position.

To reduce glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you when driving at night, pull the day/night lever toward you.

Note that rear visibility is reduced in the night position.
