A Hazard warning switch lever

The hazard warning lights are switched on by pulling the lever up. The warning lamp begins to flash at the same time.

The hazard warning lights also operate with the ignition switched off.

When using the hazard warning lights, observe the requirements of the traffic regulations.

B Windshield wiper and washer switch

The windshield wipers and washer operate only with the ignition switched on.

In freezing weather, before switching on the wipers for the first time, check that they are not frozen to the glass!

Single wipe (non-latching position): Briefly push the lever to position 1 without locking it, then release it.

Intermittent wipe: Set the lever to position 1.

The wipers operate intermittently at intervals of approximately 5 seconds.

Slow wipe: Set the lever to position 2.

Fast wipe: Set the lever to position 3.

Washing with simultaneous wiping: To activate the washer with the wipers operating simultaneously, pull the lever slightly toward the steering wheel and release it.

When the lever returns to its original position, the washer stops and the wipers continue to operate for approximately 4 seconds. If the low or high beam headlights are switched on, the headlight washers will also operate simultaneously with the windshield washer.

Nevertheless, despite the automatic function, periodically, for example during each refueling, mechanically remove accumulated dirt, insect residue and other contaminants that are difficult to wash off the glass.
