OWNER'S MANUAL

NOTE APPLICABLE TO ALL ENGINES

~1min read

After prolonged engine load, do not switch off the engine immediately. Let it run at idle for about 2 minutes. This prevents local heat buildup and ensures even heat distribution.

If the engine is hot, the cooling fan will continue to run for some time after the engine is switched off, sometimes up to 10 minutes. Under certain conditions associated with changes in temperature in the engine compartment, the fan may switch on automatically, including when the engine is not running and the ignition is switched off. Therefore, exercise extreme caution during repair work or when inspecting the engine compartment!
