1 and 8 Rotary Switch for Front Seat Heaters

With the ignition on, the cushions and backrests of the front seats can be heated.

The seat heater is turned on and adjusted in steps by turning switch 1 (driver's seat) and switch 8 (front passenger seat).

To turn on the heater, turn the switch up from position 0 and set it to the required temperature level, scale graduations 1-6. The selected digital indicator must illuminate.

2 Rear Window Defroster

The rear window defroster only operates with the ignition on. While the defroster is on, the indicator lamp built into the switch illuminates.

After the rear window has been defrosted, switch off the defroster immediately. Reducing electrical power consumption helps save fuel.

On vehicles with outside rearview mirrors adjusted electrically from inside the cabin, the mirror surfaces are heated at the same time as the rear window defroster.

On models with antenna elements in the rear window, the two upper heating wires are designed for the antenna and do not heat.

3 Front Fog Lights

The fog lights turn on together with the exterior lighting: parking lights, low beams or high beams. The indicator lamp illuminates.

Due to the strong glare effect, fog lights should be used strictly in compliance with traffic regulations.

4 Rear Fog Lights

They only turn on when the front fog lights, low beams or high beams are on.

The indicator lamp illuminates in the switch. Use them strictly in compliance with traffic regulations.

5 Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) *

Contributes to a significant improvement in vehicle stability during driving.

The main advantage of the ABS anti-lock braking system over a conventional brake system is that, even during full braking on a slippery road surface, the wheels do not lock, steering control is maintained, and maximum vehicle stability is preserved. When one of the wheels, for example, gains insufficient speed relative to the vehicle and is about to lock, the brake pressure applied to it is automatically reduced. This regulation process is accompanied by a slight noise and pulsation of the brake pedal; this is a kind of warning to the driver that the wheels are on the verge of locking.

In this case, reduce speed immediately and change your driving style according to the prevailing road conditions. This is especially important on icy roads. Under such conditions, even the anti-lock braking system cannot guarantee vehicle stability. Therefore, do not neglect the usual rules of safe driving.

The ABS system turns on automatically each time the engine is started.

If the vehicle is equipped with a rear axle differential lock, the system switches on automatically only after this lock is disengaged.

The operation of the ABS is monitored by a special lamp on the instrument panel. Under normal vehicle operating conditions, the system should operate continuously. Only in exceptional cases is it preferable to switch it off for a short time.

The system is turned on and off by pressing the ABS button.

кой дороге, покрытой рыхлым снегом, когда движение вообще допустимо только с крайнейWhen driving on gravel or on a slippery road covered with loose snow, where driving is generally permissible only with extreme caution, switching off the ABS system will shorten the required braking distance. That is, when the wheels lock, an additional wedge of gravel or snow builds up in front of them, increasing braking efficiency.

At the same time, do not forget that steering control and vehicle stability are reduced.

The ABS system is also switched off when:

- checking and repairing the brake system - when the rear axle differential lock is engaged

As soon as the differential lock is disengaged, either manually or automatically after reaching a speed of approximately 25 km/h, the ABS system will switch on automatically.

6 On-board computer function switch

The on-board computer operates only with the ignition switched on.

7 Automatic headlight beam leveling control*

The control allows the headlight beam angle to be adjusted to suit the vehicle load. This reduces the dazzling effect of the headlights on oncoming drivers. At the same time, the driver is provided with the best possible road visibility.

The light beam is lowered by turning the adjustment dial from position “0” downward.

The positions shown below correspond approximately to the following vehicle loads:

0 – vehicle with two adult passengers and empty luggage compartment.

1 – vehicle with passengers in all seats and empty luggage compartment.

II – vehicle with passengers in all seats and fully loaded luggage compartment, observing the permissible rear axle load.

III – vehicle with driver only and fully loaded luggage compartment, observing the permissible rear axle load.

If the vehicle is towing a trailer or its load differs from the above, intermediate positions of the recommended headlight settings may be selected. When determining vehicle load, the calculated weight of one passenger or driver is 75 kg.

Note: Static headlight adjustment using special equipment is always performed only in the basic (initial) headlight position, marked “0” on the adjustment dial.
