Air Conditioning System

~1min read

The system consists of a condenser installed in front of the radiator, an evaporator located next to the heater core, a compressor mounted on the engine block, and a receiver-drier equipped with a high-pressure relief valve. All components are connected by refrigerant lines.

The blower fan forces air entering the cabin through the evaporator core, which operates in the reverse of the radiator's function. The refrigerant circulated through the evaporator core absorbs excess heat from the air as it evaporates. The temperature inside the cabin is reduced to the required comfort level (selected by the operator).
