PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

If the vehicle is equipped with an audio system with a security code, make sure you have the correct code to activate the audio system before disconnecting the battery!

2. The heater blower unit is located under the instrument panel, behind the glove box, near the engine compartment bulkhead. The unit consists of the blower motor, the resistor assembly and the recirculation (closed-loop) mode motor.

3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the blower motor and remove the three mounting screws. Remove the motor.

4. Если мотор подлежит замене, отсоедините его от крыльчатки вентилятора, - воспользуйтесь

4. If the motor is to be replaced, separate it from the blower wheel. Use snap-ring pliers to release and remove the retainer. Transfer the blower wheel to the new motor.

5. Installation is the reverse of removal. Check blower operation.
