A/C SWITCH AND A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH RELAY (A/C RELAY)

When the A/C is switched on (switch in "ON" position), a signal (battery voltage) is sent to the ECM.

When the A/C ON signal is received, the ECM operates the idle air control servo (ISA) and switches the built-in power transistor to "ON".

As a result, current flows to the coil of the A/C compressor clutch relay, its contacts close, and the A/C compressor clutch is engaged.
