Diagnostic Trouble Code Troubleshooting - DTC P0135/P0141/P0030/P0036

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
Refer to the corresponding procedure for DTC P0130 and P0136.
DTC SET CONDITIONS
[For DTC P0135] 3 minutes after engine start, the engine control module checks the front oxygen sensor heater circuit. If, for two driving cycles, the front oxygen sensor heater resistance is less than 4.6 Ω or greater than 19.5 Ω, the engine control module will store DTC P0135 and illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL). This code indicates an abnormally low or high resistance in the oxygen sensor heater circuit measured by the front oxygen sensor or the engine control module.
[For DTC P0141] Two minutes after engine start, the engine control module checks the rear oxygen sensor heater circuit. If, during two driving cycles, the rear oxygen sensor heater resistance is less than 4.5 ohms or greater than 19.5 ohms, the engine control module will store DTC P0141 and illuminate the malfunction indicator lamp. This code indicates an abnormally low or high resistance in the oxygen sensor heater circuit, as measured by the rear oxygen sensor or the engine control module.
