THROTTLE BODY

REMOVAL

Remove the throttle position sensor.

Remove the throttle position sensor only when it needs to be replaced.

INSPECTION

1. Check the throttle body for cracks.

2. Check that the vacuum passages and fittings of the throttle body are free of deposits.

3. Check that the accelerator cable does not contact other parts when moved.

1. The factory adjustment screw (throttle stop screw) is set with high precision at the factory for an air flow of 0.516 ± 5% g/s at idle speed.

DO NOT CHANGE THE POSITION OF THE FACTORY ADJUSTMENT SCREW UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY.

2. If the idle speed is not within the specified value, first check the sensors and actuators, as well as their input/output signals, that affect idle speed.

3. Do not clean the throttle body, as carbon deposits do not affect the overall operation of the system.
