INJECTORS - COMPONENTS
REMOVAL 1. Relieve the residual pressure from the high-pressure fuel lines to prevent fuel spray.
Due to residual pressure in the high-pressure fuel line, cover the fuel filter with a shop rag to prevent fuel spray.

2. Remove the fuel rail together with the injectors.
2. Make sure fuel does not leak after removing the injector.
INSPECTION 1. Measure the injector coil resistance between terminals e of the connector using an ohmmeter.
Specified value: 15.9 ± 0.35 Ω at 20°C

2. If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the injector.
INSTALLATION 1. Install a new injector body O-ring and a new injector nozzle O-ring.

2. Before installation, apply a small amount of spindle oil or gasoline to the injector nozzle O-ring.
3. While turning the injector slowly left and right, carefully install it into the fuel rail (Translator's note: do not damage the O-ring).

4. After installation, check that the injector turns smoothly in the fuel rail.
If the injector does not turn smoothly in the fuel rail, the O-ring may be pinched. In this case, remove the injector from the fuel rail, reinstall it into the fuel rail and check that it turns smoothly.
