DTC P1723: A/T Control Relay System Possible Cause
If the A/T control relay voltage is less than 7 V after the ignition switch is turned to the "ON" position, it is determined that there is a short circuit or open circuit between the A/T control relay terminal and ground, and DTC P1723 is stored in the A/T control unit memory. The transmission enters fail-safe mode and is fixed in 3rd gear. A/T control relay malfunction. Poor connection at the connector. A/T control unit malfunction.
