Tightening torque found on this page

1. Thoroughly remove all dirt and other adhered particles from around the kickdown brake servo adjusting screw.

2. Loosen the lock nut.

3. Repeat the following twice: tighten the adjusting screw to 5 N·m, then loosen it.

4. Then tighten the adjusting screw to the specified torque of 5 N·m, and back off the adjusting screw 3 – 3 1/3 turns.

5. Tighten the lock nut to the specified torque.

Tightening torque Lock nut: 15 - 22 N·m

Before assembly, apply sealant (DC780) to the center part of the adjusting screw threads.
