Automatic Transaxle Oil Filter Replacement

1. Remove the air cleaner assembly, then use a special tool (oil filter chain wrench or similar) to remove the transaxle oil filter.

2. After removing the filter, use cloth gloves or rags to wipe ATF spray, dirt, etc. from the transaxle case surface.

3. Clean the transaxle oil filter mounting surface.

4. Apply a small amount of clean ATF to the O-ring of the transaxle oil filter.

5. Install the transaxle oil filter in place.

Tightening torque: 11 – 13 N·m

6. Check the ATF level in the transaxle.
