Use the hazard warning flasher whenever you must stop your vehicle in a hazardous location. If you must make such an emergency stop, try to stop as far off the road as possible.

The hazard warning flasher lights come on when you press the hazard warning flasher switch. All turn signal lights flash. The hazard warning flasher works even when the key is not in the ignition switch.

To turn off the hazard warning flasher, press the switch again.
