Storage

Storage compartments are used to store small items.

• To prevent the risk of theft, do not leave valuables in storage compartments.
• Always keep the storage compartment lid closed while driving. Do not store so many items that the lid cannot close properly.

Do not store lighters, propane cylinders, or other flammable or explosive materials in the vehicle. These items may catch fire or explode if the vehicle is exposed to high temperatures for a prolonged period.

Center console storage (if equipped)

To open the center console storage box, pull the lever up.

Glove box

To open the glove box, pull the handle and the box will open by itself.

Close the glove box when you are finished.

To reduce the risk of injury in an accident or sudden stop, always keep the glove box closed while driving.

Do not store food in the glove box for long periods.

Cooled glove box

You can keep cans of soft drinks or other beverages cool by using the vent open/close lever in the glove box.

   Turn the blower on and set the temperature to the desired level.

   Set the glove box vent open/close lever to the open position.

   If you are not using the cooled glove box, set the lever to the closed position.

To improve the efficiency of the cooled glove box:

1. Set the fan speed to maximum (fully to the right).

NOTICE

If items block the vent, the cooling efficiency will be reduced.

Do not place perishable items in the cooled glove box, as it may not be possible to maintain a uniform temperature to keep them fresh.

Sunglasses holder

To open the holder, press the cover and it will open slowly.

Place the sunglasses in the holder with the lenses facing outward.

Push the cover back to close the holder.

• Do not keep anything other than sunglasses in the sunglasses holder. Other objects could be thrown out of the holder during a sudden stop or an accident, risking injury to passengers.
• Do not open the sunglasses holder while driving. It could obstruct the rearview mirror.
