Location of Maximum Speed Adjusting Bolt
Use two wrenches to loosen or tighten the locknut.
The maximum speed is set at the factory and must not be changed. As with idle speed, the maximum speed is controlled by the injected fuel quantity. Special equipment is required for this adjustment. The illustration shows the location of the adjustment. The bolt is secured by a locknut. If you have experience working with injection engines, you may temporarily adjust the bolt to start the engine and drive to the nearest service station.
