Starting voice control1

Volvo XC90. Use voice recognition Voice commands are given through a "dialog" with the voice control system. Press the button for voice control Volvo XC90. Use voice recognition on the right-side steering wheel keypad to activate the system and initiate a voice command dialog. When you press the button, a beep will sound and the voice control symbol will appear in the instrument panel.

This shows that the system has begun listening and you can now begin speaking commands. As soon as you start speaking, the system will be trained to recognize and understand your voice. This takes several seconds and is done automatically, which means that you don't need to manually initiate any voice training.

  • Wait until after the tone, and then speak in your normal voice at a normal speed.
  • Do not speak while the system is responding (the system is unable to process commands during this time).
  • Avoid background noises in the passenger compartment by keeping doors, windows and the panoramic roof* closed.

Generally, the system will listen for a basic command that is then followed by more detailed commands specifying what you want the system to do.

To change the audio volume of the system, turn the volume knob while the voice is speaking. It is possible to use other buttons while voice commands are being given. However, because other audio is silenced during dialog with the system, it is not possible to perform any functions connected to audio using the buttons.

Annulation de la commande vocale

To speed up communication and skip prompts from the system, press the voice control button Volvo XC90. Use voice recognition on the steering wheel keypad. This will interrupt the system's response and you can say the next command.

  1. Tap Volvo XC90. Use voice recognition.
  2. Dites « Appeler [Prénom] [Nom] [catégorie de numéro] », par exemple « Appeler Robyn Smith portable ».

Quantité

Number commands can be given in different ways depending on the function to be controlled:

  • Les numéros de téléphone et les codes postaux doivent être énoncés chiffre par chiffre, par exemple « zéro, trois, un, deux, deux, quatre, quatre, trois » (03122443).
  • Les adresses peuvent être énoncées chiffre par chiffre ou par groupes, par exemple « deux, deux » ou « vingt-deux » (22). Pour les réglages de langue anglais et néerlandais, les groupes de chiffres peuvent aussi être énoncés à la suite, par exemple « vingt-deux, vingt-deux » (22 22). Pour l'anglais, les chiffres doubles ou triples peuvent aussi être utilisés, par exemple « double zéro » (00). Les numéros compris entre 0 et 2300 peuvent être utilisés.
  • Les fréquences peuvent être énoncées sous la forme « quatre-vingt-dix-huit virgule huit » (98,8), « cent quatre virgule deux » ou « cent et quatre virgule deux » (104,2).

Vitesse de la parole et mode de répétition

La vitesse de la voix du système peut être réglée.

En mode de répétition, le système répète ce que vous avez dit.

Pour modifier la vitesse de la parole ou activer/désactiver le mode de répétition :

  1. Appuyez sur Paramètres dans la vue supérieure.
  2. Tap System Volvo XC90. Use voice recognition Voice Control and select settings.
