No special tools are required.

Required wear part: filter element.

Note

Note: Lower airflow than normal indicates the need for an early filter change. Otherwise, change the filter at the scheduled maintenance interval.

The filter is located below the windshield, behind a cover.

Removal

  • Open the hood.

Reinluftfiltereinsatz ersetzen

  • Pull the rubber seal - 1 - upward.

  • Unscrew bolts - 2 - and remove the cover.

  • Remove the filter element.

Installation

  • Insert the new filter element.

  • Place the cover on and secure it with 2 bolts.

  • Close the hood.
