The following maintenance points must be carried out according to the maintenance schedule:

  • Engine: oil and filter change, visual inspection for oil leaks.

  • Perform exhaust test (idle speed, check emission control, read fault memory) - workshop work.

  • Check coolant level and antifreeze concentration. Visually inspect radiator for leaks and external contamination.

  • Replace coolant, see page 71.

  • Diesel engine: check and adjust valve clearance, see page 55.

  • Drain water from diesel fuel filter or replace it.

  • V-belt/V-ribbed belt: check tension and condition.

  • Spark plugs: replace (petrol engine).

  • Intake air filter: replace filter element.

  • Petrol fuel filter: replace.

  • Visual check of the charcoal canister system, see page 109.

  • Timing belt: replace.

  • Crankcase ventilation: check, see page 101.

  • Exhaust system: check for damage.
