Wheels and tyres
The Fiat Brava/Bravo is fitted with tyres and rims of different sizes depending on model and equipment.
In addition to rim width, the offset is also important. Offset is the distance from the centre of the rim to the contact surface of the wheel disc against the brake disc.
All wheel discs are designed as so-called hump rims.
The hump is a bead pressed into the rim shoulder which prevents the tubeless tyre from being pushed off the rim, even during extremely sharp cornering.
If tyres and/or rims are fitted that are not listed in the vehicle papers, the vehicle papers must be amended. As a rule, an approval certificate from Fiat is required.
Warning: the law requires that tyres may only be worn down to a tread depth of 1.6 mm, and the entire tread surface must still have at least 1.6 mm of depth. For safety, it is recommended to replace summer tyres at 2 mm tread depth and winter tyres at 4 mm.
