Tightening torque found on this page

  • Brake fluid: check level and warning lamp.

  • Brake system: check thickness of brake pads and electrical leads of the wear sensors on the front disc brakes. Check lines, hoses, wheel cylinders and connections for leaks and damage.

  • Remove brake drum and inspect visually.

    Have scored brake drums turned or replace them. Check brake disc thickness. Check handbrake lever travel. These maintenance points are described in the chapter “Brake system”.

  • Tires: check tread depth and tire inflation pressure; check tires (including spare tire) for wear and damage.

  • Wheel bolts: retighten crosswise to 90 N·m.
