Remove and install headlamp

Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. Warning: this erases electronic memories, such as engine operating values. Observe the notes in the chapter "Remove and install battery".

Open hood and disconnect all electrical connectors from headlamp insert.

Unscrew headlamp from body.

Pull headlamp insert out of plastic insert on body using pin - a - and remove it.

Install headlamp insert so that pin - a - engages in the opening in the plastic insert on body.

Lightly tighten headlamp to 6 N·m.

Slide on all multi-way connectors.

Connect the battery negative cable (-).

Set the clock.

If required, enter the radio anti-theft code.

Have headlamps adjusted.
