High-mounted brake light Bravo

Remove tailgate trim panel with 4 screws - 1 -.

Unclip trim panel at arrows and remove it.

Unscrew 2 plastic nuts through openings in inner tailgate frame.

Remove additional brake light outward.

Unscrew lamp holder from light with 3 screws.

Pull out defective bulb and replace it.

Screw lamp holder to light.

Insert light into tailgate and screw it on.

Caution: when installing, the retaining spring must be aligned as shown in the illustration. That is, the retaining spring pin must be inserted into the opening of the base plate at the height of the 8th bulb (counting from the connector). Figure 2 shows the correct installation position of the retaining spring.

Clip trim panel onto tailgate and screw it on.

Press in locking hook with narrow screwdriver to release light from rear bumper.

Pull connector - 1 - off lamp socket - 2 -.

Turn bulb socket 90° to the left and remove.

Pull bulb out of socket and replace.

Insert the lamp socket into the lamp - 4 - and secure it by turning it clockwise.

Insert light into recess on left side, press on right side and engage.

Pry off 2 covers with small screwdriver - 1 -.

Unscrew the screws underneath - 2 -

Fold down interior light.

Pull off multi-way connectors - 3 - and - 4 -.

If equipped, unclip emergency key - 5 - for sunroof and remove it.

Unclip cover - 6 - for interior light.

Pull out defective festoon bulb from spring clips and replace it.

Clip cover onto light.

Clip emergency key for sunroof in.

Slide on multi-way connector.

Hook interior light in at front and screw on at rear.

Press screw covers on.

Pry light - 1 - out of side trim panel of glove box or pull it out by hand.

Pull off connector (arrow) and remove light.

Note: if the light cannot be pulled out far enough, remove upper glove box trim panel and guide electrical wires for light by hand. To remove the trim panel, turn 2 turn clips 90 degrees.

Pull defective festoon bulb out of spring clips and replace it. 2 - Switch for glove box light.

Slide on multi-way connector.

Press glove box light into opening and clip it in.

Pry light out of side trim panel of glove box or pull it out by hand - 1 -.

Pull defective festoon bulb out of spring clips and replace it - 2 -

Press light into opening and clip it in.
