Trailer Exterior Lighting and Signaling Devices

~1min read

The trailer lighting system (like all other trailer equipment) must comply with the laws of the country in which it is operated. Use only equipment that matches the design of this vehicle and the requirements established for the region of operation.

You can purchase an additional connector for connecting the trailer lighting from an authorized dealer.

Wiring on trailers of different makes is not the same, so consult an electrical specialist to install the electrical equipment required to connect the trailer lighting system. Incorrect connection of the trailer electrical equipment may cause a malfunction of the vehicle's electrical system.

Before connecting the trailer lighting system to the vehicle's electrical system, be sure to consult your Honda dealer.

Additional Towing Equipment

Towing a trailer may require installing special towing mirrors on the vehicle. Observe local laws and traffic regulations.

If the rear view through the standard rearview mirrors is inadequate, special towing mirrors must be installed on the vehicle for safety reasons, even if not required by law.

Check with the trailer seller or rental agency whether installing additional equipment on the trailer is recommended.
