Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL)

~1min read
Контрольная лампа MIL загорается при наличии неисправностей в системе управления

The MIL warning lamp illuminates when a malfunction occurs in the engine control system and automatic transmission. However, the MIL will not illuminate after three engine starts if the previously recorded malfunction no longer occurs. After the ignition is turned on (before starting the engine), the warning lamp remains on continuously, which indicates normal operation of the diagnostic system. The OBD-II warning lamp illuminates when a malfunction occurs in the following components:

– transmission fluid temperature sensor
– pulse generator (PG-A);
– pulse generator (PG-B);
– shift solenoid valve (SCSV-A);
– shift solenoid valve (SCSV-B);
– shift solenoid valve (SCSV-C);
– pressure control solenoid valve (PCSV-A);
– pressure control solenoid valve (PCSV-B);
– torque converter clutch damper solenoid valve (DCCSV);
– shift timing;
– ignition pulses;
– throttle position sensor;
– transmission range switch;
– torque converter line damage.
