[USING HI-SCAN PRO TESTER]

1. Turn the ignition key to the "OFF" position.

2. Connect the HI-SCAN Pro tester to the Data Link Connector (DLC) near the glove box (under the steering column).

3. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position.

4. Read the diagnostic trouble codes using the HI-SCAN Pro tester.

5. Using the DTC chart, identify the malfunction and perform the necessary repair.

6. Erase the diagnostic trouble codes from the control unit memory.

7. Disconnect the HI-SCAN Pro tester.
