• Slip of the torque converter lock-up clutch is calculated

TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

Malfunction Detection Conditions Possible Cause Inspection Item
• Engine crankshaft speed > 1500 rpm

• A/T selector lever position: D, 2 or L

• No ignition pulses are input to the A/T ECU.

 • Malfunction of the engine ECU

• Malfunction of the A/T ECU

• Malfunction (poor contact) in the connector

 • Wiring and connector

• Engine ECU
