Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the rear side trim panel [LH].

    (Refer to Body — "Luggage Compartment Side Trim")

  3. Disconnect the fuel filler door opener actuator connector (A).

  4. Remove the fuel tank filler door housing.

    (See Body – Fuel Filler Door)

  5. Remove the fuel filler door actuator (A) after loosening the mounting bolts.

Installation

  1. Install the fuel filler door actuator.

  2. Install the fuel filler door housing.

  3. Connect the connector of the fuel filler door actuator.

  4. Install the luggage compartment side trim panel [LH].

  5. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

  1. Check the circuit continuity between terminals No. 1 and No. 2. If there is no continuity, replace the fuel filler door actuator.
