Luggage Compartment Trim Panel Clips

FRONT PARKING LIGHTS AND SIDE TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the mounting screw (indicated by arrow) and remove the light by pulling it forward (in the direction of the arrow).

2. Disconnect the connector and turn the bulb sockets counterclockwise to replace the bulbs.

TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS

PROCEDURE

1. Remove the mounting screws and take the light out of the bumper by turning it.

2. Disconnect the connector and turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.

REAR SIDE TURN SIGNAL, STOP LIGHT, REAR TURN SIGNAL, MARKER LIGHT AND BACK-UP LIGHT BULBS

PROCEDURE
On sedan body models

1. Remove the two screws securing the rear combination light, open the trunk and remove the trim panel for access, then remove the nut and take out the rear combination light.

2. Turn the bulb sockets counterclockwise, pull them out and replace the bulbs.
On station wagon body models

3. Remove the mounting screw and lift the combination light upward to remove it.

4. Turn the bulb sockets counterclockwise, pull them out and replace the bulbs.

LICENSE PLATE LIGHT BULBS

PROCEDURE
On sedan body models

1. Press the tab and lower the lens cover downward to access the bulb.

2. Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise and remove it. On station wagon body models

3. Remove the license plate light mounting screws and lower the light.

4. Remove the bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise, then take the bulb out of the socket.

HIGH-MOUNTED STOP LIGHT LOCATED ON THE CABIN CEILING IN FRONT OF THE REAR WINDOW

PROCEDURE
On sedan body models

1. Using a ballpoint pen, press on the center of the clips, then remove the clips with a screwdriver and remove the light cover.
2. Remove the light mounting bolts, lift the light to gain access, then turn the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it and pull the bulb straight out.
On station wagon body models
3. Remove the lens cover, remove the bulb holder by turning it counterclockwise, then take the bulb out of the socket.

INTERIOR LIGHT BULBS

PROCEDURE
1. Using a small screwdriver, remove the lenses.

2. Remove the bulb from the contacts. You may need to pry the bulb out with a screwdriver; if so, pry at the edge of the bulb (otherwise the glass may break).

INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT BULBS

PROCEDURE
1. To gain access to the instrument panel light bulbs, remove the instrument panel (refer to Subsection 12.18).

2. Carefully move the bulb holder aside (as indicated by the arrow) and remove the bulb. The bulbs can be installed from the rear of the instrument panel.
