  • Raise the front of the vehicle.

  • Position a suitable lever so that it bears against the inner wheel rim and the lower control arm.

  • Carefully press the lever upwards and check the play.

    Play is the distance travelled by the lower control arm before the movement is transmitted to the steering knuckle.

  • The play must not exceed 0.5 mm. If this value is exceeded, the worn joint must be replaced.

  • Lower the vehicle.
