Depending on the direction of rotation of the pump, washer fluid is delivered either to the windshield or to the rear window.

Removal

  • Drain the washer fluid from the washer fluid reservoir and catch it.

  • Unscrew the washer fluid reservoir and move it aside with the hoses still connected.

  • Disconnect connector - 1 - from the washer pump - 2 -.

  • Disconnect hoses - 3 - from the washer pump.

  • Pull the washer pump out of the reservoir.

Installation

  • Insert the new washer pump.

  • Transfer hoses - 3 - to the new pump.

  • Slide on multi-way connector.

  • Fill the washer fluid reservoir and check the function of the washer pump.

  • Bolt the washer fluid reservoir in place.
