Elapsed Time Reset

To have the elapsed time reset when the ignition key is turned to LOCK (0), or when the Trip A or Trip B odometer is reset, perform the following steps.

When the message "ELAPSED TIME RESET" appears on the multi-function information display, press the SEL/RESET button. The display will enter the setting mode.

You can select the following values:

"IGN OFF", "TRIP A" or "TRIP B". Each time the INFO button is pressed, the selected mode will change between the listed setting options and the mode(Exit). Confirm your selection by pressing the SEL/RESET button.

IGN OFF: Elapsed time is reset when the ignition key is turned to LOCK (0).

TRIP A: Elapsed time is reset at the same time as the Trip A odometer is reset.

TRIP B: Elapsed time is reset at the same time as the Trip B odometer is reset.

After the procedure is successfully completed, one of the following confirmations will be displayed for a few seconds: "SETUP IGN OFF", "SETUP TRIP A" or "SETUP TRIP B", and then the display will return to the "CHG SETTING" screen. Press the SEL/RESET button, and then press the INFO button to move to the mode for changing other settings.

If you do not confirm the setting you selected, "INCOMPLETE" will appear on the display for a few seconds. The display will return to the setting mode. In this case, repeat the setting procedure.

To exit the setting mode without changing settings, select EXIT by pressing the INFO button, and then press the SEL/RESET button. The display will return to normal operation.
