Description and Operation

Description

The height sensor detects changes in vehicle height and sends this signal to the AFS ECU. The height sensor consists of a rotor/stator, a PCB coil, and a sensor link.

The sensor detects the link angle value, which is calculated from the magnetic field of the stator.

Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Disconnect the height sensor connector (A).

  3. Remove the height sensor link (A).

  4. Remove the height sensor (A) after loosening the mounting bolt.

Installation

  1. Install the height sensor and link.

  2. Connect the height sensor connector.

  3. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.
