Repair Procedures

Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

  2. Remove the airbag lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "Under Cover Panel")

  3. Remove the [LH] trim (A) after loosening the mounting screw.

  4. After loosening the mounting screws, remove the side mirror switch (A).

  5. Disconnect the side cover switch connector (A).

Installation

  1. Connect the side mirror switch connector.

  2. Install the side mirror switch.

  3. Install the trim panel [LH].

  4. Install the emergency pad lower panel.

  5. Connect the negative (-) battery terminal.

Inspection

  1. Check the voltage of the new dimmer switch. If the light intensity of the lamp changes smoothly without flickering when the dimmer is turned, the dimmer switch is considered normal.
