GENERAL INFORMATION

Periodically inspect the battery tray and battery hold-down. If corrosion is found, clean the affected area with a wire brush, neutralize with a baking soda solution, then rinse with clean water. Apply zinc primer to the area.

Check the battery state of charge at least once every 3 months.

PROCEDURE

1. The battery is located in the left side of the engine compartment. Check the condition and security of the battery by visual inspection.

2. Проверяйте состояние и надежность крепления клемм (A) и состояние кабелей

2. Check the condition and security of the terminals (A) and the condition of the cables (B).

3. Очищайте коррозию специальной щеткой на полюсах (фото слева) и на клеммах

3. Remove corrosion from the battery posts (photo left) and cable terminals (photo right) using a special wire brush.
