1. Check the condition of the wiper blades. Replace worn blades. Blades should also be replaced if wiping performance is inadequate. It is recommended to replace the wiper blades annually.

2. To remove a wiper blade, pull the wiper arm away from the glass until it locks. Turn the blade 90°, press the internal blade latch with a screwdriver or finger, and remove the blade from the arm hook, sliding the arm out through the slot in the blade frame.
