Tuning to a Station

~1min read

PROCEDURE

1. Tune to the desired station using one of the methods below. The tuning frequency value will appear on the display.

Preset tuning mode

2. Used to tune to a preset station (refer to subsection 1.5.3). Press the LMU button repeatedly until the desired information appears on the display.

3. Press the button with the number that was previously assigned to the desired station. The receiver tunes to the desired station, and the button number of the desired station will appear on the display.

Continuous Seek Mode

4. In this mode, the receiver automatically searches for a station. After a station is received, tuning automatically stops.

Press and hold both sides of the TUNE SEEK button simultaneously until a continuous beep sounds. The receiver will automatically search for the nearest station with a higher or lower broadcast frequency. After a strong signal is received, tuning stops. Each subsequent press of the button will continue the search until the next station is received with a strong signal.

If tuning is not possible after one full band scan due to a signal that is too weak, the search will continue with increased sensitivity, and the DX indicator will appear on the display.

Manual Tuning

5. Press both sides of the TUNE SEEK button simultaneously for no more than 0.5 s. Each press of the button jumps to the next frequency on which broadcasting is available.
