PROCEDURE

1. To select monaural or stereo reception, press the L.M/U button. The L.MW or UKW symbol will appear on the display.

2. Tune to the desired station using one of the methods described below. The tuning frequency will appear on the display.

Preset tuning mode

3. Press the preset station button. The radio automatically tunes to the stored station, and the button number is shown on the display (refer to subsection 1.4.3).

Continuous Seek Mode

4. In this mode, the radio searches for a station. After a station is received, tuning stops automatically. Press both sides of the TUNE button at the same time and wait for a continuous beep. The radio automatically searches for the nearest station with a higher or lower frequency. After a strong signal is received, tuning stops. Pressing the button again continues the search until the next strong station is received.

5. If a station cannot be tuned after one scan of the entire frequency band due to a very weak signal, the search continues with increased sensitivity, and the DX symbol appears on the display.

Manual Tuning

6. Press both sides of the TUNE button at the same time for no more than 0.5 seconds. Each press jumps to the next frequency on which broadcasting is possible.
