A 5-speed manual transmission is standard on most Audi 80 models. Four front-wheel-drive models with gasoline engines are offered with special equipment: an electronically/hydraulically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission. It has two driving programs: “E” (economy) and “S” (sport).
