The front axle with strut-type suspension, already known, was carried over in a modified form from the Audi Coupé and from the predecessor model. The additional use of polyurethane elastic elements makes it possible to comfortably absorb even large body movements.


The anti-roll bar, attached to both transverse links, significantly reduces body roll occurring in cornering and also absorbs shocks transmitted to the suspension when driving over uneven surfaces.


Compared with the previous model, the front axle track is widened by 38 mm.
