GENERAL INFORMATION

Relays are used to supply electrical current to the components of some of the vehicle's electrical accessories. A malfunctioning relay will cause the component it controls to fail.

If a relay is suspected of being faulty, remove it and have it tested at a dealer or qualified workshop. A faulty relay must be replaced as a complete assembly.
